Real Estate Tax Appeals and Abatements
The Firm has been actively involved
in the representation of taxpayers and taxing districts alike in real
estate tax assessment appeals and litigation for more than 20 years.
The practice has, over this period, been tailored to meet the evolving
needs of our clients in the changing economy. The Firm works closely
with Tax Court qualified appraisers to prepare cases for settlement
and, if necessary, trial. As a corollary to the tax appeal practice,
the Firm has successfully procured substantial tax savings for many
of its clients pursuant to various tax abatement programs available
in New Jersey to induce the redevelopment of the urban areas of the
State. The Firm also assists clients in obtaining the significant benefits
available through the Urban Enterprise Zone Program.
