Insurance Coverage Litigation

The Firm has a wealth of experience in the representation of insurance carriers and commercial policyholders in all phases of insurance related litigation. A significant part of our practice also includes the representation of self-insureds. Our expertise in these matters has enabled the Firm to undertake the defense of insureds in complex toxic tort, premises liability, legal malpractice, commercial and construction litigation matters as approved counsel by numerous insurance carriers. The Firm has also represented, in both state and federal court, several Fortune 500 companies in complex, multisite, multistate environmental insurance coverage actions arising out of layered programs of primary and excess comprehensive general liability insurance policies issued over many decades. In addition, the Firm represents clients in insurance coverage actions involving medical benefits under ERISA health plans, products liability, medical malpractice and policy reformation.
