Civil Litigation

Litigation is a major and ever expanding part of our practice. The bulk of that practice involves corporate and financial matters on behalf of a wide range of clients, many of which are Fortune 500 companies. The experience of our litigators is broad in scope. Our active docket comprises more than seven thousand matters in both New Jersey and New York federal and state courts involving such areas as pharmaceutical and product liability, toxic tort and environmental claims, commercial claims and business torts, construction litigation and accidents, catastrophic injury cases, defense of premises liability cases, insurance coverage litigation (including toxic tort defense), civil rights cases, zoning and land use litigation, and regulatory and municipal issues. The Firm appears regularly before state and federal courts, arbitration panels and a wide variety of administrative tribunals. We also have experience in all forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution, and have successfully concluded a number of major cases in that fashion. The Firm also features a distinguished appellate group.
