Susan C. Gieser
Position: Senior Counsel Ms. Gieser joined the firm in April, 2007. She is a graduate of Lafayette College with a BS in Civil Engineering. She was awarded a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering (Toxicology Option) in May 1985 and a J.D. From Emory University School of Law in May of 1988. Ms. Gieser was admitted to the bar in New Jersey 1988, Georgia in 1988, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 1988, United States District Court, District of New Jersey 1988, State of New York in 1989 and the District of Columbia in 1990. Ms. Gieser is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has written publications. Prior to her association with this office, Ms. Gieser represented clients before the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection in furtherance of obtaining state approvals for solid waste permits, underground storage tank clearance, NJPDES permits, treatment works approvals, wetlands permits, air permits, and clearances pursuant to the Industrial Site Recovery Act. She has also been involved in cases before the Office of Administrative Law and federal and state courts involving disputes as to responsible party liability, directives and enforcement actions brought by state and federal agencies for alleged violations of the New Jersey Spill compensation and Control Act, Solid Waste Management Act, Air Pollution Control Act, Clean Water Enforcement Act, Underground Storage Tank Act, Toxic Substances control Act and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act.
