Robert F. Cavanaugh, Jr.
Position: Partner
Mr. Cavanaugh was initially associated with the
firm from 1989 to 1993 and rejoined the firm in 2001. He is a cum laude
graduate of Rutgers University (B.A. 1984) and a 1989 graduate of Seton
Hall University School of Law. Admitted to practice in New Jersey in
1989, he is a member of the
Hudson County Bar Association.
Before rejoining the firm in September 2001, Mr. Cavanaugh maintained a solo practice in Jersey City, was a Councilman for the City of Jersey City, and a trustee of the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority.
The primary focus of Mr. Cavanaugh's practice is real estate development and municipal land use. Mr. Cavanaugh's practice areas also include personal injury, automobile, premises liability, workers' compensation, commercial, bankruptcy, and environmental tort litigation.
