Mr. Valenti’s area of expertise is primarily real estate litigation and more specifically eminent domain law. Mr. Valenti has represented the State of New Jersey as a Deputy Attorney General in cases involving the acquisition of land for public purposes. That representation included various state agencies including the New Jersey Department of Transportation, New Jersey Transit, The Economic Development Authority, and several others. He has litigated numerous matters in jury trials involving condemnation issues and gained additional expertise in the area of relocation entitlement for displaced businesses and individuals applying the Uniform Property and Relocation Assistance Act, litigating any resulting disputes before the Office of Administrative Law. While in the Attorney General's Office he participated as a lecturer in litigation seminars for new Deputy Attorneys General.
Since joining the Firm, he has represented property owners and occupants of properties that have been acquired by public entities. In addition, he has been retained by a number of municipalities and municipal development agencies to represent them in the acquisition of property for public purposes.
