Robert  D. Thompson

Associate

Robert D. Thompson joined Waters, McPherson, McNeill as an Associate in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Thompson served as a law clerk to Mercer County Assignment Judge, Linda R. Feinberg. During his final year of law school, Mr. Thompson also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable John J. Hughes, U.S.M.J. at the United States District Court, District of New Jersey in Trenton.

Mr. Thompson concentrates his legal practice in the areas of Governmental Representation, Governmental Entity Litigation and Real Estate Conveyances, Financing and Leasing. As part of his practice, Mr. Thompson regularly assists clients with landlord/tenant disputes, real estate closings and the resolution of various matters in municipal court.

During his first two years of practice, Mr. Thompson also assisted with a case that resulted in a reported decision by the Appellate Division.

Mr. Thompson was born in Salt Lake City, Utah.
